The Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model (MPTM) incorporates recent research about the effects of sex-addiction-induced trauma (SAIT). This therapeutic model conceptualizes many partners’ emotions and behaviors as:
- Understandable responses to the traumatic nature of Discovery
- Attempts to restore reality and safety
Foundry Clinical Group creates a safe, supportive environment for both members of the couple to discuss and understand profound effects of betrayal upon their relationship. Emphasizing communication, empathy-building and crisis/trigger management for both partner and addict, this workshop provides strategic tools and resources to move couples compassionately through the fire.
